Delivery
Q: Can I collect my order?
A: Yes you can! A “Ready for Pickup” email will be sent to you when you order is ready to be collected. Please click this link for the Click and Collect details. Note: this Collection Centre is in Preston in Victoria, NOT Prestons in NSW.
Q: When will my order be despatched?
A: Generally, your order will be despatched within 1 to 3 business days.
Q: How will my order be delivered?
A: Depending upon the size of your order, it will be shipped either by AusPost or a specialist courier (note this is NOT an express courier).
Q: Will my order be tracked?
A: Yes! When your order is consigned, you will receive a tracking number that will show you where your order is and its expected delivery date.
AusPost - Track your order here
Specialist Courier - Track your order here
Please note: Orders with two or more items may arrive in separate parcels with no additional shipping charge
Q: When will my order be delivered?
A: All AusPost orders are picked, packed and despatched within 2 business days. Our experience with AusPost indicates that your order will be delivered within 2 - 5 business days. Clearly this will fluctuate at peak shipping times such as Christmas and EOFY.
If your have selected the specialist courier, your order will be packed and despatched within 3 business days. Please note, this is a specialist courier - NOT an express courier. The courier will NOT get your order to your home faster, but it will deliver over-sized items that AusPost cannot deliver.
Q: What happens if my order gets lost during transit?
A: On rare occasions we have had orders go missing. ecoMaster has solid procedures in place and photograph every order that leaves our warehouse. The delivery of our orders at our local post office are videoed and we track the progress of orders. If a delivery date appears to be beyond expectation, we will raise a query with the freighter on your behalf. If your order cannot be found during transit, we will send a replacement.
Q: What happens if my order is stolen after delivery?
A: We will check with the freighter to ensure that the order was delivered to the correct address. If that is confirmed, and your order has been stolen from your home after delivery, please raise a Police Report. In practice, we have had very little of this type of incident.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Q: How long is each roll?
A: 5 metres
Q: What is the difference between Renshade 1350, Renshade 1000, Renshade 340?
A: It is exactly the same product - it is just in different widths. Each roll is the same length. Only the width is different:
- Renshade 1350 is 1350mm wide (1.35 metres)
- Renshade 1000 is 1000mm wide (1 metre)
- Renshade 340 is 340mm wide (0.34 metres)
Q: Are Velcro dots included with each roll of Renshade?
A: Yes. 20 Velcro dots are included with each roll. You can buy more if you wish.
Q: Why are there different widths?
A: The cost of freight! Anything less than 1.05 metres can be sent via Australia Post flat rate shipping. That means that Renshade 1000 and Renshade 340 can be shipped right across Australia for a flat and affordable rate.
Renshade 1350 is too wide to fit within Australia Post parameters, so it must be sent via courier. This can make your Renshade 1350 freight costs higher. If you don't need the extra width, try the Renshade 1000 or Renshade 340 and enjoy Australia Post shipping rates.
Q: What do you use the Renshade 1000 for?
A: Renshade 1000mm roll is very popular for shading windows in high rise apartments and anywhere where the north and western sun cannot be shaded from outside.
Q: What do you use Renshade 340 for?
A: If you are looking for caravan air conditioning, a couple of rolls of Renshade 340mm are perfect for reducing the heat load on a caravan or RV. Unlike air conditioning, Renshade 340 does not need electricity so it can effectively reduce the heat in your caravan even when you are off road! It can be put up in the summertime and removed for winter, when you would want the warmth of the sun.
Q: Can I join Renshade 340 to shade larger window?
A: Yes you can join it using regular clear sellotape. Of course you will always see the joins.
Q: Can I get a sample of Renshade to see if it is suitable for my home?
A: Yes - the Renshade 340 is a suitable sample size to test its effectiveness in your home on bigger projects.
Q: Can I use Renshade as a privacy screen?
A: During the day, Renshade will provide privacy as long as the brightest light is outside. Unfortunately this means that at night with the light on in a room, it is possible to see through it from outside.
Q: Can I install Renshade outside?
A: It depends. If you want to install Renshade under a pergola - then yes, as long as it is protected from high winds and rain. If Renshade is put in a windy or wet environment, it will become very unhappy and not serve you well.
Q: My window is wider than 1350. Can I order Renshade in a wider roll?
A: Unfortunately 1350mm is the widest that Renshade comes in. It is possible to join it together with good quality cellotape - the dots line up so it is easy to do!
Q: Can I make Renshade into a roller blind?
A: Yes. Please contact a blind maker who should be able to help you. We do not provide that service but are working towards getting a supplier to make them.
Q: Does Renshade burn?
A: Yes Renshade will burn when exposed to a direct flame. Do not expose Renshade to a direct flame. This is particular pertinent to under pergola areas.
If you have a gas fired outdoor heater, remove Renshade from the area.
Q: Is Renshade suitable for double glazed units?
A: If a double glazing manufacturer believes that window films should not be applied to their double glazed units (DGUs) then the same should apply to Renshade. Renshade has been applied to thousands of homes over 30+ years. There has been no report of damage from Renshade. However, optimum results would be achieved via roller blinds or fly screen frames and not directly attaching Renshade to DGUs.

What is Renshade, and how does it work?
Renshade is a foil-backed, perforated reflective material that you attach to windows, skylights, or pergolas to block radiant heat from the sun. It reflects up to 85% of solar heat, helping keep your home cooler in summer—without blocking all your natural light or view.
Where can I use Renshade?
You can use Renshade on north, west or east-facing windows, glass doors, skylights, or pergola roofs, or boats, caravans or RVs —anywhere the sun beats in and heats up your space. It’s ideal for renters too, because it’s removable and reusable.
Is Renshade hard to install?
Not at all. Renshade can be easily installed with Velcro dots, blue tac, roller blinds or fly screen frames—with no, or few, tools required. You can cut it to size with regular scissors, and it’s light enough for one person to manage solo. DIY-friendly and super satisfying!
